What Investors Should Consider

The share-price gains recorded by these companies demonstrate the scale of movements on the Ghana Stock Exchange over the past year. However, a substantial increase in a stock’s price does not automatically make it an attractive investment, and past performance does not guarantee future returns.

Investors should examine a company’s financial statements, revenue growth, profitability, debt levels, dividend history, corporate governance and business prospects before making investment decisions. Trading liquidity is also important, particularly for stocks that have experienced sharp price movements, as infrequent trading can make it difficult to buy or sell shares at a desired price.

The ranking is based on reported one-year share-price performance as of 4 November 2026. It excludes dividends and is not a recommendation to buy or sell any of the listed stocks.
